Curriculum

  • The Fellowship year consists of one month rotations. Fellows are assigned to fellowship eleven trained attendings with backgrounds in interventional spine, ultrasound, and electrodiagnostics.
  • Each rotation involves outpatient musculoskeletal clinics, and an interventional spine and ultrasound component. Fellows will be exposed to different styles and techniques in order to formulate their own best practices.
  • Each rotation has at least one half day for research or supplemental clinical experiences, like urgent care, orthopedic surgery observation or travel to offsite community practice locations.
  • Fellows will perform fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided spine and peripheral joint, nerve, and soft tissue injections, PRP, and Electrodiagnostic tests.
  • Fellows will learn to provide comprehensive care during supervised office hours and a Fellows continuity clinic.
  • Expert functional rehabilitation prescriptions will be incorporated.
  • Fellows will be exposed to diagnostic ultrasound, advanced brachia, plexus electrodiagnostics, concussion evaluations, spasticity management and adaptive sports coverage.
  • Fellows will develop expertise in radiology interpretation of spine and peripheral structures.
