Purpose
- Assess the first carpometacarpal Joint as a cause of the patients pain
Description
- Grasp the first metacarpal just distal to the basal joint
- "Shuck" back and forth in the radial/ulnar directions
- Positive Test
- Reproduction of the patients pain at the base of their thumb
