Purpose
The movie theatre sign. Increased patellofemoral compression during long periods of sitting[1]
- To characterize a feature of the patients pain
Description
- The patient will describe pain during prolonged periods of of sitting, such as in a movie theatre
- These patients may even present to sit in an aisle where they can more frequently keep their knee extended
Pathology
- Patellar Tendonitis
- Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome
- Chondromalacia Patellae
- Patellofemoral Osteoarthritis
