Purpose
- Evaluate the stability of the tarsometatarsal joints
Description
- Examiner stabilizes the midfoot
- Move the head of the affected metatarsal while firmly holding the midfoot and hindfoot
- This is useful in identifying and isolating the affected TMT joint
- Positive test
- Increased laxity
- Reproduction of symptoms
