Purpose

Abnormal pinch grip in the right hand[1]

Description

  • Patient is seated or standing
  • Have patient pinch tip of index finger and thumb together
  • Examiner applies muscle resistance while patient resists with pinched fingers
  • Positive Test:
    • Weakness, poor resistance
