Acute sports medicine/orthopedic trauma at a ski clinic in Crested Butte, Colorado

The Fellows participate in preseason physicals, event coverage and weekly athletic training room visits
Sports Medicine clinic occurs 7 half days per week at one location
Our clinic focuses on athletic medicine for active patients
Fellows receive 3-4 hours of weekly didactics in orthopedics, anatomy, fractures, sports medicine, and family medicine topics
Monthly didactics include MRI conference, journal club, physical therapy lectures, and MSK Ultrasound
Teaching opportunities abound with 2 family medicine residents and 1 medical student at all times on the sports medicine rotation
