Purpose
- Evaluate the Glenohumeral Joint and Glenoid Labrum as causes of shoulder pain
Description
- The patient is supine
- Patient’s shoulder abducted to 90° and elbow flexed to 90°
- Patient’s arm supported by examiner
- Stabilize anterior shoulder/coracoid process with one hand
- Apply anterior force with other hand on posterior humerus
- Positive test
- Pain/humeral head subluxation anteriorly
