Purpose


Description

  • The patient is supine
  • Patient’s shoulder abducted to 90° and elbow flexed to 90°
  • Patient’s arm supported by examiner
  • Stabilize anterior shoulder/coracoid process with one hand
  • Apply anterior force with other hand on posterior humerus
  • Positive test
    • Pain/humeral head subluxation anteriorly
