Purpose


Description

  • The patient is seated
  • Hand resting on hip, thumb facing posterior
  • Examiner places one hand on shoulder, other on elbow and distal humerus
  • Examiner exerts a superior anterior force along the line of humerus while stabilizing shoulder with other hand
  • Positive test
    • Reproduction of pain, click or pop
