Purpose


Description

  • The patient is asked to perform the cross arm test
    • They will adduct and flex their arm, reaching towards the unaffected shoulder
  • The examiner then applies a downward force
  • The patient is asked to maintain the arm in this position
  • Positive teset
    • Pain
    • Inability to maintain position against resistancee
