Purpose
- Evaluate the Acromioclavicular Joint as a cause of the patients shoulder pain
Description
- The patient is asked to perform the cross arm test
- They will adduct and flex their arm, reaching towards the unaffected shoulder
- The examiner then applies a downward force
- The patient is asked to maintain the arm in this position
- Positive teset
- Pain
- Inability to maintain position against resistancee
