Purpose


Description

  • Patient is in supine position with arm is abducted to 120 degrees.
  • Elbow is bent to 90 degrees of flexion, forearm in supination.
  • Examiner moves arm to end range external rotation.
  • In this position, the examiner resists elbow flexion.
  • Positive sign
    • Pain during flexion
