Purpose

Description

  • The patient is supine
  • Grasp foot with both hands, knee flexed to 90°
  • Passively & gently extend knee
  • Observe knee “bounce home” into natural neutral extended position with sharp end point
  • Positive test
    • Pain associated with soft end point
    • Inability to fully extend due to loose body or torn meniscus
