Introduction

General

  • Brewerton view is utilized to better visualize the carpal and metacarpals
  • Useful when standard hand radiographs are insufficient or need more clarity

Technique

  • Hand is placed palm up
  • Flex the hand at the metacarpophalangeal joint to 65°
  • Evert thumb
