Purpose


Description

  • Patient is seated
  • Cross the affected leg over the opposite knee
  • Applies pressure to proximal fibula of affected leg
  • Positive test
    • Pain at distal ankle suggests Syndesmotic Injury

    • Specificity: 83.1%
    • PPV: 33.3%
    • NPV: 61.3%
