General Description
- Fibro-osseous space located on the posteromedial elbow
- Transmits the ulnar nerve into the forearm
Borders
- Medial: medial epicondyle of the humerus
- Lateral: olecranon of the ulna.
- Floor: elbow joint capsule and medial collateral ligament of the elbow
- Roof: ligament spanning between the medial epicondyle and olecranon
Cubital Tunnel Retinaculum
- Ligament which forms the roof of the cubital tunnel
- Also termed the Arcuate ligament of Osbournee
- Runs between the ulnar and humeral heads of the flexor carpi ulnaris
Vascular Supply
- Superior ulnar collateral artery
- Inferior ulnar collateral artery
- Posterior ulnar recurrent artery
