Purpose
- Evaluate the medial/lateral meniscus as a cause of the patients knee pain
- First described by Childress in 1957[2]
Description
- The patient starts standing
- Ask them to squat down
- From there have them waddle forward
- Positive test
- Patient unable to perform due to pain
- Pain in the duck walk position
Pathology
Evidence

- Sensitivity: 71%
- Specificity: 39%
