Purpose


Description

  • The patient is seated or standing
  • Elbow extended, wrist placed in extension
  • Patient is asked to actively extend wrist against resistance
  • May repeat with elbow flexed as well
  • Positive test
    • Pain at lateral epicondyle
    • Often worse with elbow extended than flexed
