Purpose
- Evaluate the integrity of the distal Tibiofibular Syndesmosis
Description
- The patient is seated or supine
- Examiner attempts to draw the fibula forward and backward with the tibia stabilized
- Positive test
- Increased translation as compared with the contralateral side accompanied by pain
Pathology
