  • Flexion Internal Rotation Test

Purpose

  • To assess whether a patients hip pain may be coming from the Hip Joint

Description

  • The patient is supine
  • Flex, internally rotate the hip
    • Note: No adduction to the hip (unlike a FADIR test)
  • Positive test
    • Pain in anterior groin for intraarticular hip patholog

  • Hip Joint Etiology
