• Evaluate integrity of Ulnar Nerve

Description

• Patient is seated or standing
• Ask patient to grip piece of paper between the thumb and index finger
• Examiner attempts to pull paper out
• Positive test:
  • Weakness or inability to hold paper in affected hand

• Ulnar Nerve Injuries including:
  • Guyon Canal Syndrome
  • Cubital Tunnel Syndrome
