Purpose
- Evaluate the common flexor tendon of the elbow
Description
- The patient is seated or standing
- The examiner places one hand on the medial epicondyle or common flexor tendon
- The examiner uses the other hand to:
- Passively supinate the arm
- Extend the elbow
- Extend and radially deviate the wrist
- Positive test
- Pain or discomfort along the medial epicondyle or common flexor tendon
