Purpose
- Evaluate the integrity of the posteromedial elbow as a cause of pain
Description
- The patient is seated
- The elbow is passively placed at 90° of flexion
- The examiner hyperpronates the patient’s forearm.
- This hyperpronation imparts a medial rotatory force to the ulnohumeral joint.
- Positive test
- Visualize or palpate posteromedial rotatory ulnohumeral subluxation.
