Ligandrol
Other Names
- LGD-4033
General
- Ligandrol (LGD-4033) is a nonsteroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) developed to provide anabolic effects on muscle and bone with reduced androgenic activity in other tissues.[1]
Performance Enhancing Effects
- increases lean body mass and strength[2]
Medical Indications
- not indicated for any approved medical use
Adverse Effects
- suppression of endogenous testosterone and gonadotropins, hepatotoxicity, mood swings, decreased testicular size, acne, and alterations in lipid profiles such as decreased high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol and increased triglycerides
