Purpose


Description

Classic Description

  • The patient is seated
  • Arm is placed in 90° abduction, the elbow in 90° flexion, and the forearm in maximum supination
  • The examiner moves the forearm into maximum pronation
  • Positive test
    • Reproduction of symptoms

Supine Alternative

  • The patient is supine
  • Arm is placed in 90° abduction, the elbow in 90° flexion, and the forearm in maximum supination
  • The examiner moves the forearm into maximum pronation
  • Positive test
    • Reproduction of symptoms
