Adverse Effects

• testosterone suppression
• Tendon injury/rupture

Mechanism

• Stimulates myogenic differentiation and muscle cell proliferation via androgen receptor and ERK1/2 kinase activation, increasing expression of myogenic markers (myogenin, MyoD, MyH) and muscle mass in animals
