Purpose
- Evaluate for posterior instability of the hip
Description
- The patient is supine
- Hip is flexed to 90°, 30° external rotation and knee flexed to 90°
- A posteriorly directed force is placed at the knee
- Positive test
- Reproduction of posterior pain/ apprehension
