Purpose

  • Evaluates Hamstrings as a cause of hip or thigh pain

Description

  • Patient is standing
  • Leg is fully extended, hip is flexed to 90° and placed on the examination table
  • The patient is asked to reach out and touch their toes
  • Positive test:
    • Recreation of the patients pain
