  • Quadratus femoris is a deep muscle in the gluteal region
  • Functions as a hip external rotator and adductor

Origin

Insertion

  • Intertrochanteric crest of the Femur

Actions

  • External Rotation of thigh
  • Stabilizes Femur in acetabulum

Vascular Supply

  • Inferior Gluteal Artery
