Purpose
- Evaluate the cause of elbow pain by stressing the Common Flexor Tendon
- Flexor Carpi Radialis is specifically in this assessment
Description
- The patient is seated or standing
- Elbow is flexed to 90°, forearm is placed in supination, wrist in flexion
- Patient maintains wrist flexion against resistance while trying to pronate forearm
- Positive test
- Reproduction of pain at medial epicondyle
