- Triangular space in the anterorsuperior shoulder joint
- Located between tendons of subscapularis and supraspinatus and base of the coracoid process
- First described by Dr Neer in 1970[2]
Borders
- Anterior/Superior: posterior aspect of the subscapularis tendon[1]
- Posterior/Inferior: anterior border of the supraspinatus tendon
- Medial/ Base: lateral margin of the base of the coracoid process
- Roof: the rotator interval capsule, reinforced by coracohumeral ligament
