Purpose

• Evaluate integrity of TFCC

Description

• Patient is seated or standing, forearm in neutral
• Examiner stabilizes distal radioulnar joint with a firm grip over the carpal row
• They then apply a compressive force pushing the carpus into the DRUJ
• Add a rotation force in a supination pronation motion
• Positive Test:
  • Pain or clicking
