Purpose
- Evaluate the Glenohumeral Joint and Glenoid Labrum as causes of shoulder pain
Description
- The patient is supine
- Abduct shoulder 90°, flex elbow 90°
- Examiner’s fist under patient’s shoulder to act as a fulcrum
- Passive external rotation over the fist
- Fatigues the subscapularis for 1 minute
- Positive test
- Anterior capsule instability or apprehension
