- Mallet Finger
- Distal interphalangeal (DIP) joint injuries

Description
- Small rigid splint applied to the distal finger
- Holds the DIP joint in full extension
- Allows movement of the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint
- Typically made of plastic with vented design
- Secured with tape or straps for continuous immobilization
Evidence
- At least 50% cure rate for Mallet Finger
- Preferred by patients[1]
