- Palmar ulna bursa
- Ulnar bursa of the palm

General
- Encases the majority of flexor tendons as they pass deep to flexor retinaculum
- Muscles encased: flexor digitorum superficialis, flexor digitorum profundus
Gross Anatomy
- Originates at the level of pronator quadratus and continues distally to the mid palm
- Extends proximally up to 5 cm proximal to the flexor retinaculum
- It terminates at approximately 1-3 cm proximal to the flexor tendon sheaths of digits 2-4
- It may communicate with the smaller palmar radial bursa
- Continuous with the digital synovial sheath of the pinky
