- Our program offers a robust learning experience for fellows. Components of the two-year program include:
- Opportunity to earn a master's degree while completing the fellowship
- Longitudinal opportunities to learn from operative and non-operative sports medicine physicians
- Participation on medical team for SWEEP and FLOW programs
- Formalized learning of procedural and diagnostic ultrasound equipment
- Focus on lifestyle medicine, including exercise as medicine and nutrition along with their roles within a sports medicine patient population
- Hands-on and focused work with Division I and professional sports teams in Birmingham
