Curriculum

  • One spot is reserved for Emergency Medicine
  • Family & Internal Medicine continuity clinic is completed at the UF Student Health Care Center in a primary care team. Emergency Medicine continuity clinic is completed in the UF Health Emergency Room. PM&R and Pediatrics will complete continuity clinics in their specialty area.
  • Ultrasound training is practiced with fellows; used for ultrasound guided injections and for diagnosing issues.
  • Procedures: complete over 100 procedures throughout the year which includes PRP, joint injections, joint reduction, etc.
  • Clinical rotations will be held with Primary Care Sports Medicine, Ortho Sports, Ortho Pediatrics, Ortho Upper/Lower Extremities, Ortho Spine, Anatomy
  • Weekly schedule will consist of covering UF football practices (in fall), continuity clinic, sports medicine clinic, rotation clinic, training room coverage for UF, Santa Fe College and local high school, journal club and/or didactic session.
  • Fellows are given 1-2 months of elective rotations; elective rotations can be with any faculty they wish to gain more knowledge from; Coordinator arranges these rotations.
