Purpose
- Evaluate the proximal biceps brachii and acromioclavicular joint as a cause of the patients shoulder pain
Description
First Description
- Place the arm in maximal internal rotation
- Apply slight pressure upward
- Positive test
- Pain at the top of the shoulder
Second Description
- Apply downward pressure over the lateral one-third of the clavicle
- Passively adduction, external rotation, and forced forward flexion of the humerus
- Positive test
- Reproduction of pain at the AC joint
