Purpose
- Evaluate integrity of Achilles Tendon in the setting of posterior ankle and calf pain
Description
- The patient is seated, supine, or prone positions
- Examiner directly palpate Achilles tendon body & insertion site onto calcaneus
- Evaluate for for depression, sulcus, edema
- Positive test
- Pain & deformity
