- Superior pubic ramus
Insertion
- Middle third lip of the linea aspera
Actions
- Adduction of the thigh
- Stabilization of the pelvis
- Balances the pelvis on a lower limb during the gait cycle
Artery
- Deep femoral artery (primary)
- Medial femoral circumflex artery (superior portion)
- Femoral artery, the popliteal artery and the genicular arteries (inferior)
Nerve
- Anterior division of the obturator nerve (L2-L4)
