Purpose
- To evaluate for the presence of an inferior shoulder dislocation
Description
- Characterized by the presence of a lower position of the axillary fold on the affected side compared to the unaffected side.
- Observed when the patient is standing or sitting with their arms at their sides Asymmetry in the axillary folds is due to the downward displacement of the humeral head in cases of inferior shoulder dislocation
