Purpose
- To distinguish the etiology of the patients shoulder pain
Description
- The patient is seated, examiner behind the patient
- Apply downward pressure over the lateral one third of the clavicle
- Simultaneously passively inducing slight adduction, external rotation, and forced forward flexion to the humerus
- Positive test
- Pain localizes to the AC joint
