Purpose
- Evaluate the Common Extensor Tendon as a cause of elbow pain
Description
- The patient is standing behind a chair
- They grasp the back of the chair, attempting to lift with a 3 fingers (thumb, index long fingers)
- The forearm is pronated, the elbow is fully extended
- Positive test
- Pain occurs at the lateral epicondyle
