Purpose
- Evaluate patients with lower back pain with radicular features
- This is the straight leg raise test performed on the non-radicular limb
Description
- The patient is supine
- The examiner passively flexes the contralateral hip, keeping the knee in full extension
- Positive test
- Pain reproduced radiating down the ipsilateral limb
