  • Dorsal Cutaneous Branch of the Ulnar Nerve
  • Dorsal Branch of the Ulnar Nerve

General

  • Sensory branch of the ulnar nerve which supplies the dorsal hand
  • Arises from the medial aspect of the ulnar nerve approximately 8 cm proximal to the pisiform bone
  • Passes dorsally beneath the tendon of the flexor carpi ulnaris
  • Provides dorsal branches to the small finger, the ulnar aspect of the ring finger, and the ulnar aspect of the carpus and hand
