Purpose

  • Evaluate the cause of lateral foot pain

Description

  • The patient is seated or supine
  • Examiner stabilizes the heel with one hand
  • Using the other hand, they passively translate the cuboid dorsally and plantarly
  • Positive test
    • Reproduction of symptoms
    • Motion is decreased
