Purpose
- To evaluate the glenohumeral joint for anterior instability
Description
- The patient is seated
- Abduct the shoulder to 90 degrees, rest on examiners shoulder
- Examiner applies a downward/forward force on the upper arm
- Positive test
- Feeling of apprehension
- Noticeable anterior translation of the humeral head
