Purpose
- Evaluate the glenohumeral joint a as a cause of the patients pain
Description
- The patient is seated
- Examiner places thumb of each hand on scapular spine
- Fingers then wrap over the front to the humeral head
- Apply a posteriorly directed force to the anterior aspect of the humerus
- Compare the affected and unaffected arm
- Positive test
- Increased translation in the affected arm
