Purpose
- Evaluate the Supraspinatus as a cause of shoulder pain
Description
- Patient is seated or standing
- Arm is abducted to 30-45°, flexed to 90° with shoulder externally rotated.
- Examiner applies a downward force just proximal to the patient’s wrist while the patient resists.
- Positive test
- Pain and/or weakness
