Purpose


Description

  • Patient is seated or standing
  • Arm is abducted to 30-45°, flexed to 90° with shoulder externally rotated.
  • Examiner applies a downward force just proximal to the patient’s wrist while the patient resists.
  • Positive test
    • Pain and/or weakness
