Description

Illustration of abnormal Jeanne's Sign
  • Patient is asked to pinch together thumb and index finger forming an "OK" sign
  • Positive test:
    • Weak and unstable pinch with hyperextension of the thumb metacarpophalangeal, thumb adduction
    • Compensating for loss of interphalangeal extension and thumb adduction by Adductor Pollicis Brevis
