Purpose
- Evaluate Cubital Tunnel and Ulnar Nerve as a cause of elbow pain
- Named after French physician M. Jeanne, who first described the clinical observation in 1915[1]
Description
- Patient is asked to pinch together thumb and index finger forming an "OK" sign
- Positive test:
- Weak and unstable pinch with hyperextension of the thumb metacarpophalangeal, thumb adduction
- Compensating for loss of interphalangeal extension and thumb adduction by Adductor Pollicis
