Purpose
- Evaluate the Lunate and Triquetrum, specifically the Lunotriquetral Joint
Description
- The examiner stabilizes the radiolunate joint with the forearm in neutral rotation and with the contralateral hand load the triquetrum in the AP plane
- Stabilize the lunate between thumb and index finger of one hand and the triquetrum between the thumb and index finger of the other
- Apply a dorsal–volar shear force between the lunate and triquetrum
- Positive test
- Wrist pain
- Crepitus
- Clunk
- Excessive motion
