Purpose


Description

  • The examiner stabilizes the radiolunate joint with the forearm in neutral rotation and with the contralateral hand load the triquetrum in the AP plane
  • Stabilize the lunate between thumb and index finger of one hand and the triquetrum between the thumb and index finger of the other
  • Apply a dorsal–volar shear force between the lunate and triquetrum
  • Positive test
    • Wrist pain
    • Crepitus
    • Clunk
    • Excessive motion
